Access to hotels and tourist accommodation
Given the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal, the EU's Covid Digital Certificate (complete vaccination, recovery or test) or a negative test is required for access to any hotel or tourist accommodation throughout the mainland.
The measure applies to all municipalities, regardless of their risk level.

4 types of tests are accepted:

PCR test (done in the laboratory), performed within 72 hours prior to presentation.

Antigen test with laboratory report, performed within 48 hours prior to submission.

Rapid antigen test (self-test), carried out within 24 hours prior to its presentation, and must be done in the presence of a health professional or pharmaceutical area who certifies its performance and its result.

Rapid antigen test (self-test), carried out at the door of the establishment, with the verification of those responsible for these spaces.
